I'll stamp all over 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
